How to connect Ubuntu 18.04 VM on Microsoft Azure
Once the Ubuntu 18.04 VM on Microsoft Azure, please install Putty and do ssh

Run one by one these commands on SSH Bash: Please wait for the command to finish
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get -y install xfce4
- sudo apt-get -y install xrdp
- sudo systemctl enable xrdp
- echo xfce4-session >~/.xsession
- sudo service xrdp restart
Same SSH user name and password would work.
Just return to portal.azure.com
select the VM, click on connect>RDP like below:
