Recover a database that is in the \”restoring\” state

Error:

MicrosoftDynamicsAX Database showing in restoring… and not able bring offline or drop.

AX Version: AX 2012 R3
OS: Windows Server 2012
SQL: SQL 2014

Solution:

Open SSMS

And run the query

RESTORE DATABASE MicrosoftDynamicsAX WITH RECOVERY
GO
